Sonyk is a professional audio production workstation provided by Underspin City Gourmet, LLC ("Sonyk", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Sonyk apps or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Sonyk lets you create, record, import, sample, remix, mix, export, and share audio. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary for any audio, samples, recordings, tracks, or other material you import into, create with, export from, or share through the Service. You may only mix, sample, or remix music and audio that you own or are otherwise legally authorized to use.
You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, contract, privacy, publicity, or other right of any third party. You will not use the Service to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of material you do not have the rights to.
The Service may let you connect to or load audio from third-party services (for example SoundCloud or Beatport) using your own accounts and purchases. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; you are responsible for complying with them. We do not grant you any rights in third-party content, and accessing it through the Service does not make such use lawful if it would not otherwise be.
If you share a song file, post to the community board, or otherwise make content available through the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You must not share content that infringes the rights of others.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, and you may not abuse other users. Within the app you can report any post or comment and block any user; reported content is removed from your view immediately. We review reports and act on objectionable content—including removing it and terminating the responsible accounts—typically within 24 hours. To flag content or a user, use the in-app report/block controls or email [email protected].
We respect intellectual-property rights and will respond to valid notices of alleged infringement. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] including: your contact information, identification of the work, the location of the material, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your signature. We may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
Some features require a paid "Sonyk Pro" subscription. On iOS, subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple ID via Apple's In-App Purchase; payment is charged at confirmation, renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and is managed in your App Store account settings. On the web, subscriptions are billed through our payment processor. Prices are shown before purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; Apple-billed purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies.
You will not: use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except as permitted by law; resell or redistribute the Service; or upload malware. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Underspin City Gourmet, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any claims arising from content you import, create, or share. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content or your violation of these Terms.
